C'est lors du GDC (Game Developers Conference) que plusieurs récompenses seront décernées aux jeux vidéo. Ce seront les développeurs eux mêmes qui récompenseront leurs confrères. Ils récompenseront les jeux selon plusieurs catégories comme le meilleur son, personnage, game design, technologie, etc ...
